In the start of the letter Micheal explains of him being gay. And that he is okay to be himself and that it seems its the right time to tell his parents who he really is.

When Micheal finally moved to San Fransisco he finally felt home. He felt free to be himself.  A place full of gay and straight people. This is a place where everything is very simple to everybody and that this place accepts anyone of any category. Many people are against this but for me im neautral towards this because these are things people are doing because they are showing or expressing who they are. And that we dont have the right to choose or to judge who they are or who they will become

We all should just accept who they are in a way of respect and gratitude.
